GROWMATE is concerned about the privacy of its users, adopting all necessary measures to protect their personal data.
This Site is operated by GROWMATE – GROW YOUR COMPANY WITH OUR MATES, LDA., based at Rua do Carrascal 280, 1º esq, 2755-101 Alcabideche, Cascais, the entity responsible for collecting and processing your personal data, never transferring your personal data to any other entity without your express consent.
With this document we intend to make our Users aware of the general rules of privacy and processing of their personal data, which are collected, in strict respect and compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”) and Law no. 58/2019 of 8 August.

Who are the recipients of the Privacy Policy?
The Privacy Policy is applicable to any user of the GROWMATE Website, whether registered or not.
What type of personal data do we collect from our Users?
– Registered Users: Access to certain features requires prior registration. To register, the User is asked to provide some personal data (i.e. information of a personal nature that allows the User to be identified).
– Non-Registered Users: Non-Registered Users may make their personal data available to GROWMATE if they participate in actions that involve the collection of such data. In such a case, these rules will apply.
How do we use your personal data?
GROWMATE collects and processes personal data to manage the contractual relationship with the User, improve services, design new functionalities and adapt the Services to User preferences and tastes. The data provided may also be used to update your profile (for example: contacts, CV, etc.) We also use your personal data to communicate with you.
Without prejudice to Users’ rights, personal data will be stored for the legally permitted period.
How can you access or rectify your personal data?
Under the terms of the GDPR and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019, the User is guaranteed the right to access, update, rectify or delete their personal data.

The exercise of these rights by the User must be carried out through a written request sent to the Data Controller via email at: privacy@growmate.pt.
Use of IP addresses and “cookies”, what does it consist of?
The GROWMATE Website may use “cookies” — small data files that a server sends to your browser when you access a webpage — to help us determine the usefulness, relevance, and number of visits to the Website.
Additionally, the GROWMATE Website may, at the User’s discretion, use cookies to store the User’s email address and password at the time of login, for the period selected by the User. This allows such information to be pre-filled, avoiding the need for the User to log in every time they access the Website.
Use of Third Party Advertising Networks?
All online advertisements displayed on the GROWMATE Website are managed by GROWMATE. However, GROWMATE may allow third-party companies to display ads on its Website, in which case those companies are responsible for the content and targeting of such advertisements.
